Dear friends, I am so grateful that you are giving me the opportunity to be your international President. If I am standing here today it is because of the support that I got from so many of you.
Ladies, today,.... is a milestone in the history of Agora Club International.
From this day forward Agora Club International starts to bring together All Past Circlers worldwide on an international level, a wish not only from the girls of Germany but that was also announced by all Ladies’ Circle Councillors in Bangalore/India.... A wish that could only become reality because of you girls.......you all understood the real spirit of Agora, “Donner et Tolérer” meaning to Give and to be indulgent......... Of course the real work still has to be done - as this year will be a year of transition, a year were the new international Board will have to update the rules and write guidelines for the future.

This year the new Board will work towards the extension of our association, we will give it a future were Agora Club will be a well structured, prepared to grow in the best interest of our member countries. We, as your new Board, we have been working together in the past and we know that we will work as “ONE TEAM”, a team that has the intention to update you regularly of our work. Working “together” is so important....... On a club level, if there is a good interaction between the members and the club board members – well I can assure you - you’ll have a strong and healthy club life. The same on a national level – good communication between the National Board and their members clubs will make Agora alive in your country, be proud to be an Agora, talk about it with Ex Circlers, Tablers , 41-oners and friends..... Working together in “respect” for one another - that’s the keyword !!!

That is why, that today I am so happy that you decided to work side by side with Tangent Germany, an association with the same rules and goals..... and also having open membership as we have. One day Agora Club International might become the platform where all Past Circlers associations meet internationally... “this” out of respect for Ladies’ Circle, the club who was the reason of our start-off in the beginning.... Like 41 club International I do realise that the strength of an association is “in re-uniting the international friendship we’ve once experienced. “ I am so happy that you realised that we couldn’t change the past but I am so grateful that that we COULD CHANGE THE FUTURE....... That is why for the first time ever in Agora I would like to work with a motto of the year being... TOGETHER – WE ARE ONE...... I have been making 300pins – pins that will be sold and the profit made out of it will also be given to Abruzzo Region in Italy, where we have a “ 4Clubs – 1 Mission goal” Dear Friends, thanks for supporting me in this project, besides buying the pin you could also organise nationally, and locally events - the money raised then, will be put into an international Agora service account and afterwards we will give ONE international cheque towards this project controlled by 41-Club Italy. It would be great if Agora Club International could give a considerable check for building the new Social centre in Onna, I really hope I can count on your support in this matter.... Dear friends I am sure that we are facing a fantastic year together, we have an dynamic Board, and I can assure you that will work together AS ONE TEAM in the best interest of Agora Club International...
